Hey guys! Tomorrow we will conduct experiments over the nervous system.  In groups of 5, we will discover how and why the nervous system distinguishes one touch from two touches using pencils, a ruler, and a group member to experiment on.  Each group will also design a second nervous system experiment of their own which will be conducted on Wednesday and presented on Thursday using a given form of technology.

Check out this awesome 3D model of a neuron!  Can you identify the cell body, nucleus, dendrites, axon, axon terminal, and myelin sheath?  Record both the name and time of appearance of each part and turn in for extra credit tomorrow.  What do you think are the functions of each part?
